Fabrica Dashboard

Description

Fabrica Dashboard gives you a better overview of your content and site activity, especially useful for multi-user editorial sites. Its widgets give you an instant insight into:

  • the Posts, Pages, Blocks and custom content types that make up your site
  • recent activity and updates across content, media, and comments
  • upload sizes / formats and possible security issues

No configuration needed:

  • automatically shows any Custom Post Types or Custom Taxonomies used by themes or plugins
  • respects each user’s role and privileges
  • compatible with other Dashboard widgets (WooCommerce, Analytics, etc)

  • Editorial Overview: summary counts of published items and registered users, allowing you to keep an eye on size and growth effortlessly between your logins.
  • Content Breakdown: a table of all the content types in the site, including draft, scheduled and trashed items.
  • Content Activity: all the recent additions and edits across all content types, in one list.
  • Media Breakdown: everything in the uploads folder, organized by type and including total file sizes. Non-permitted file types are flagged with a warning, helping you to see if your site has been compromised.
  • Discussion Overview: for sites with comments enabled, an instant sense of how public participation is going, with total comment numbers, and a summary of what’s happened since you last logged in.
  • Comments Activity: a quick overview of recent comments, with a toggle to see comments on your own content only.
  • Site / You: personalized for the current site and user, giving additional useful information, such as how long since the last change on the site, and how long since your last login.

FAQ

Does it vomit all over my site like 99% of plugins?

Absolutely not. Fabrica Dashboard is clean, tidy and efficient – to look at and under the hood.

  • Does not add tables to the database
  • Does not add any code to your front-end
  • Follows WordPress styles and conventions
  • Has only one setting (a checkbox to unhide the default widgets) and removes it on uninstall

Reviews

Me 25, 2024
Every element it adds to the dashboard is useful and there’s no configuration needed. It’s very fast. It counts a large number of media items very quickly, even on my largest website with 26k original images and 90k resized images. It supports ACF with Post Types, which is great. Media breakdown helps me find files that don’t show up in the WordPress media library. I’ve never seen any other plugin that counts resized images. This is a wonderful dashboard plugin that gives you a much better overview of your website.
