No. The free version runs exclusively locally in the visitor’s browser using the standardized Web Speech API. There is no silent tracking. ### What is the Web Speech API? The Web Speech API is a browser-native feature that provides text-to-speech capabilities directly from the user’s device. ### Why is the voice different on iPhone and Windows? Since the free plugin uses the user’s device to synthesize speech natively, the voice heard depends entirely on the operating system and browser they are using. If you want identical, studio-quality voices on all devices, consider upgrading to PRO. ### Can I place the player anywhere? Yes! You can disable the automatic display on Posts or Pages and use the `[voxis_summarizer_player]` shortcode to manually position the audio player inside any Page Builder (Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, etc.). ### Does the player support volume control?
