FAQ

I do not see /wp-sitemap.xml

The site needs to be public. If you ask for no indexing, then a sitemap is not available.

What is a sitemap?

A sitemap is a file where you provide information about the pages, videos, and other files on your site. Search engines read this file to more intelligently crawl your site.

There is no need to install sitemap plugin when your WP is up-to-date. But WP puts all pages into it and you cannot exclude some of them. Thanks to this very light and easy-to-use plugin you can chose what should be excluded from the WP’s sitemap.
