## Description

Manage Yournotify through three tabs: Forms, SMTP and WooCommerce.

**Forms**

Create forms from one table. Every form uses the same field builder and `[yournotify_form
id="N"]` shortcode, replacing N with the form’s saved ID.

Add, remove and arrange Text, Email, Telephone, Long text, Dropdown, Checkbox, Website
URL, Number and Date fields. Set each field’s label, placeholder, default value,
required rule and enabled status. Dropdowns have their own options. Each form also
has its own button text, success message and active or paused status.

All valid submissions are saved against their form and can be viewed in the form’s
Submissions section. Optionally enter a Yournotify List ID to sync contacts, and/
or a notification email address to receive submitted details. Forms that only store
responses need neither. List syncing requires a valid Email or Telephone field;
other collected fields become contact attributes.

Connect your account under Forms > API Connection when using list sync. API credentials,
list destinations and notification recipients stay on the server. Multiple forms
can appear on the same page with independent submission state.

**SMTP**

Send WordPress email through smtp.yournotify.com using your Yournotify SMTP credentials
and verified sender email.

**WooCommerce**

Connect your store’s customer and order automation to Yournotify. Existing WooCommerce
configuration remains available in its own tab.

### External service

Yournotify is an external service. When a form has a List ID configured, the plugin
verifies list access and sends its collected contact details and custom attributes
to the Yournotify API to add or update the contact. Existing list memberships are
preserved. A Yournotify account and API key are required for list sync. Account
import notifications follow your Yournotify settings.

Forms store submitted values in your WordPress database. If a notification email
is configured, the plugin sends the submitted values to that saved recipient using
WordPress mail. Without list sync or a notification email, submissions stay in WordPress.
SMTP sends WordPress email through Yournotify when enabled. WooCommerce integration
sends customer and order information when configured.

your API key under Forms > API Connection if you use list sync.

    post, widget or Shortcode block.

## FAQ

### Can I create different forms with different fields?

Yes. Each form owns its fields, settings, destinations and submissions. You can
use the same builder for enquiries, newsletter signups, applications, feedback or
other information you want to collect.

### Do all forms need a List ID?

No. A List ID is optional and is only used when you want to sync collected contacts
to Yournotify. Require an Email or Telephone field for list sync. Other forms can
collect any supported fields without either contact field.

### What changed for existing shortcodes?

Version 2.3.0 removes `[yournotify_subscribe]` and `[yournotify_contact]`. Create
saved forms and replace old embeds with the exact `[yournotify_form id="N"]` shortcode
from each editor. There is no legacy shortcode alias, global default form, default
list or automatic shortcode replacement. Missing, invalid and paused form IDs do
not accept submissions. Refresh cached form pages after updating.

### What happens if delivery fails?

The submission stays saved under its form. The visitor sees a delivery error and
administrators can inspect the failed list-sync or notification status in Submissions.
